Even though it was a week of short days, we were still able to cover a lot. We finished Topic 14: Multiplying Greater Numbers in Math, we will have a test on this on Tuesday. We also finished our Life Science unit and will have test on it this Thursday. A study guide will be going home, please be sure to study all week!
This past week we have been acquainted with our songs that we will be performing in the Winter Program. We will be singing "Do You Want to Build A Snowman" from the movie "Frozen," and "Blitzen Boogie." This week we begin to practice on stage and adding the dance moves.
On Tuesday, we will be kicking off our Science Fair process. We will be going over the different types of entries that can be submitted, as well as what needs to be included for each type. Science Fair proposals are due December 8, projects are mandatory for grades 3-5. Start to think about what you want to do and perhaps start to find ideas at the library or online. You can also do something that you come up with on your own.
We are visiting the Book Fair on Wednesday. You may send money with your child to purchase items then. Students may shop after school as well this week, but must be accompanied my an adult.
Be sure to get your community projects done, we only have 2 weeks left! They are due the Monday we return from Fall Break.
Next week is our Fall Break, have a great Thanksgiving!
