Just want to send out a big thank you to the parents and students for my end of the year gift. It will be a big help in finishing up our nursery and preparing to welcome our little one in just a few weeks!

Here we are at our final week of third grade. This class has grown and learned a lot over the past ten months. It has been a pleasure to get to know each of my students and to have such dedicated parents. I can say this year was a success.
This week will be pretty simple. There will be no homework this week, however, their May reading logs are due on Monday. We will be packing up our textbooks on Monday, but we will still be doing some work. Report cards will go home with students on f Amongst the work, there will be some fun activities. This Monday is the awards assembly for science projects. Tuesday is our picnic, please be sure to send in permission slips and money by Monday. Students need to wear sunscreen and bring a beach towel to sit on. They may bring balls, jump ropes, etc. to play with, but nothing that involves water or resembles a weapon. The picnic starts at 11:30 and will go until the end of the day. Wednesday and Thursday students may bring games and movies. Games should be school/age appropriate and movies must be rated G. Thursday is a minimum day and is our last day. No school on Friday. I would like to thank Elizabeth Hager for being our parent liaison this year and putting in the extra work to help our class out! You were a big help! I did promise the class I would post on here once the baby is born, it will be sometime in the month of July. I hope everyone enjoys their summer and I wish my class the best of luck in fourth grade and the rest of their endeavors. |
