We finish our Unit 3: Animal Adaptations in Language Arts this week. We also start a new Module in Engage New York Math where we will continue to learn our Multiplication form 6-9 and multiples of 10. The week we will be taking a test on our Science Unit for Physical Science. Word Searches have gone home as homework to help students study. The test in on Thursday, then we start our unit in Life Science on Friday in the lab.
You will be getting several papers home tonight. One will be talking about our Winter Concert attire. We are asking students to give one dollar to help pay for leis. We would like students to wear Hawaiian shirts and brown/khaki shorts or pants. Should you not have these items, a white shirt and blue pants are fine.
The other paper is a check off of all the things we have coming up. The first being tomorrow. Students need to bring hat, gloves, and scarves (if you have any) for a picture for a winter project in class. Also on the paper is a link to our sign up for our class parties the last week before break. Please go to http://signup.com/login/entry/166986775417536075 to sign up.
